  • What is the First Responder Row Show?

    It's a series of four different distance / timed indoor rowing events.  Distances include the 250 meter, 500 meter, 1,000 meter and 2,000 meter events.

  • Who can register for these events?

    Anyone who is affiliated with Police, Fire, EMT, Paramedic as well as ALL healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses and staff 

  • Where is this First Responder Row Show Event being held?

    The event is at the Utica Fire Academy, 1350 Bleecker St, Utica, NY 13501

👉  Millions of people have already discovered the thrill of challenging themselves on the indoor rower.

👉  This event is open to ALL first responders  —  No experience required. It's totally O.K. if you've never competed!  This is a great way to push toward your personal best. 

👉  We encourage everyone to consider participating in this event, or at least come to watch.   It makes a great training goal to get you through the tough sessions.

Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking to have a good time, this event is tailored for all chiefs -- all ages, all shapes and sizes!

All you've got to do is give it your best shot at the 10-Pull Rower Challenge. It's not about how fit you are, but the spirit you bring to the game.

The goal?  Let's see which chief can achieve the maximum distance in just 10 pulls!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Things get underway at 10:45.  If you are a First Responder Rowing Participant -  you must arrive at registration no later than 9:45!  Thank you! 

Each event entry is $25 (until Oct. 1st) and you can participate in up to four (4) events. Prices will increase as the event nears, so purchase early! Price goes to $30 per event on October 1st and to $35 per event on October 15th. Registration the day of the event each event is $50. 

Medals will be awarded to first, second and third place winners.  Competitors can pick up anytime after the final race. There is no official medal ceremony, but athletes are encouraged to pick up their medals and take a picture on the awards stage.
